Senior Cost Control Engineer

About the role

Group AMANA is seeking a Senior Cost Control Engineer to support the financial management of its construction projects. The role will focus on budgeting, cost reporting, and variance analysis to ensure projects stay within financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, prepare and review project budgets and cost estimates.
• Generate and issue regular cost reports for project stakeholders.
• Prepare subcontractor progress reports and payment certificates.
• Investigate and validate causes of budget overruns on site.
• Prepare and review variation orders, claims and supporting documentation.
• Perform fast and accurate quantity take‑offs based on contract measurement methods.
• Conduct site visits to update progress reports and collect data.
• Verify purchase requisitions and orders against budgeted quantities and contract specifications.
• Analyze project data to capture lessons learned for future budgeting.
• Coordinate with planning teams on schedule programs, resource loading and productivity reports.
• Compare job budgets with estimates and highlight discrepancies.
• Post client billing, variation orders and subcontractor payment certificates in the CMIC system.
