Senior Cost Manager – Post Contract

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Cost Manager – Post Contract to join its Dubai team. You will be responsible for overseeing all post‑contract financial activities on large‑scale projects, ensuring costs are accurately tracked, valued and reported.

Key responsibilities

• Administer post‑contract services, including interim applications, change management, variation valuations and extension‑of‑time claims, primarily under FIDIC contracts.
• Conduct cost checks and valuations across all project stages, delivering timely and accurate financial data.
• Monitor post‑contract costs, analyse actual expenditures versus forecasts, and align them with approved budgets.
• Manage change control processes, providing detailed financial analysis and contractual justification for variations.
• Develop and maintain cost forecasting models to predict final project costs and identify overruns or savings.
• Review and validate contractor invoices, change orders and claims for accuracy and contractual compliance.
• Produce post‑contract and ad‑hoc reports that clearly communicate complex financial information.
• Perform financial reconciliation between contract terms, invoices and accounting records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in post‑contract cost management on large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed cost checks and valuations.
• In‑depth knowledge of standard form contracts, especially FIDIC.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior stakeholders.
