Senior Delivery Manager

About the role

The Senior Delivery Manager acts as a strategic business partner, linking business strategy, product priorities and technology execution. Reporting to senior leadership, the role drives complex, cross‑functional delivery and matures enterprise PMO capabilities across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior business and technology leaders to translate strategic priorities into clear, outcome‑focused roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Design, implement and continuously improve an enterprise PMO operating model, covering demand intake, prioritisation, stage‑gate processes, portfolio planning and benefits tracking.
• Introduce proportionate delivery standards and governance that work across agile, predictive and hybrid environments.
• Provide evidence‑based recommendations, trade‑off analyses and transparent decision support for scope, sequencing, investment and risk.
• Facilitate governance cadences, decision forums and escalation routes to ensure timely actions and ownership.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, Technology and business units on investment planning, resource forecasting and value realisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior delivery or programme leader in large, complex organisations.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale enterprise‑wide PMO functions.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
