Senior Design Manager – Roads, Utilities & Urban Development

About the role

The Senior Design Manager will lead the planning, design, coordination and delivery of large‑scale infrastructure projects across roads, utilities and urban development. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure projects meet client requirements, regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee technical interfaces, manage project risks, budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for large infrastructure programmes.
• Ensure quality, safety and operational excellence on all deliverables.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in roads, utilities and urban infrastructure design.
• Proven background in construction management within PMC or consultancy environments.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale projects.
