Senior Developer (Endur) - Energy & Commodities

About the role

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior Developer (Endur) to provide Level 2 functional and technical support for Endur applications in energy and commodities trading. The role keeps day-to-day trading operations stable by investigating and resolving incidents across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office and Logistics, and by collaborating with development, infrastructure and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office and Logistics functions.
• Monitor Endur application performance, End-of-Day processing, P&L calculations and system health checks.
• Perform SQL queries, log analysis and root cause investigations.
• Manage incidents, service requests and production issues according to SLAs and ITIL processes.
• Analyse recurring incidents and work with development teams to implement permanent fixes.
• Support configuration changes, system enhancements, integration troubleshooting, UAT, regression testing and release validation.
• Maintain SOPs, technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Work with L3 support, development and infrastructure teams, and identify automation and performance improvements.

Required profile

• Hands-on Endur (OpenLink) support experience in energy and commodities trading.
• Strong understanding of the commodity trading lifecycle (Front, Middle and Back Office).
• L2 production support, incident management and troubleshooting experience.
• Working knowledge of ITIL practices and Agile delivery teams.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Required skills

• Strong SQL, database analysis and log investigation.
• Understanding of Endur configurations, workflows, scripting and integrations.
• Experience with End-of-Day processing, P&L validation and Endur integrations with risk, finance, reporting and data platforms.
• Exposure to OpenJVS, OpenComponents or Endur customisation frameworks, and to Endur upgrades, modernisation or cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Python, Java or other languages used for automation, and familiarity with data analytics, reporting or visualisation tools.
