Senior DevOps Data Engineer – Enterprise Data & Analytics

About the role

The Senior DevOps Data Engineer will join Emirates Group's Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACoE) to design, build and operate CI/CD pipelines that enable autonomous teams to deliver software faster and more reliably. You will work in a multi‑cloud environment, supporting the digital transformation of the Emirates Group by applying DevOps, automation and site‑reliability principles.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment, test automation, code quality checks, telemetry and orchestration.
• Configure and tailor pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery for a range of products, ensuring performance, scalability and supportability.
• Guide teams on container deployment, orchestration and cloud infrastructure management, including shared services and landing zones.
• Build and deploy Docker containers, breaking monolithic applications into micro‑services.
• Design monitoring, alerting and log‑aggregation solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with senior technical engineers on architecture, cloud migration and performance analysis.
• Apply site‑reliability engineering practices to ensure availability, latency, capacity planning and emergency response.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline development and containerisation.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and multi‑cloud environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and mentor software engineers on DevOps best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
