About the role

Gartner is seeking a senior‑level analyst to lead its Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group in Dubai. The Senior Director Analyst will shape market‑leading research, provide actionable advice to clients, and act as a trusted voice on IT strategy and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Create innovative, high‑impact insights that become must‑have content for Gartner’s clients.
• Develop thought‑leadership pieces and actionable recommendations that accelerate client decision‑making.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses to uncover root causes of client challenges and reframe strategic thinking.
• Lead a team of analysts, championing provocative, independent viewpoints that influence research agendas.
• Research, analyze, and forecast market trends, delivering actionable insights to both clients and vendors.
• Engage with clients through virtual and face‑to‑face meetings, delivering high‑value presentations at events and conferences.
• Support sales by acting as the market voice, helping shape content and drive client engagement.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of research processes.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in research, consulting, or advisory roles within the IT strategy or transformation space.
• Exceptional analytical and critical‑thinking abilities with a track record of producing pragmatic insights.
• Strong communication skills, capable of influencing senior executives and delivering compelling presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior talent.
