Senior Director, Cyber Security

About the role

Miral is looking for a senior leader to head its Cyber Security Operations function. Reporting to the Vice President of Digital & Technology, you will shape and run the technical security programme that protects a large‑scale, guest‑focused enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Miral’s security strategy into a technical roadmap aligned with NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, UAE Information Assurance Standards and ADHICS.
• Design, deploy and operate network and infrastructure security controls such as firewalls, segmentation, NAC, VPN, IDS/IPS, web/email gateways and DDoS protection.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team covering SOC, network security, IAM and cyber incident response.
• Oversee 24x7 security monitoring, threat detection, triage and response using SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR and threat intelligence.
• Drive detection engineering, use‑case development and continuous tuning to improve MTTD and MTTR.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting, adversary emulation and security hardening across servers, endpoints, cloud and OT/IoT environments.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in cybersecurity operations within a complex, large‑scale organization.
• Deep understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory standards in the UAE.
• Strong track record of building and managing SOC, network security and incident response teams.
• Excellent communication skills to advise executive leadership and governance bodies.
