Senior Draftsman – Warehouse Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Draftsman to lead the preparation of shop, coordination, and structural steel drawings for warehouse projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves close collaboration with engineers, consultants, architects, and site teams to ensure all documentation meets UAE authority standards and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed shop, construction, and coordination drawings for warehouse builds.
• Develop structural steel fabrication and erection drawings.
• Create reinforcement detailing and rebar drawings for foundations and concrete elements.
• Generate MEP coordination drawings to support multidisciplinary execution.
• Coordinate with project engineers, design consultants, architects, and site engineers to resolve drawing issues.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments, RFIs, and design changes.
• Prepare accurate as‑built drawings for handover.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, and document control archives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of construction drafting experience, with at least 2 years on warehouse projects in the UAE.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and consultant requirements.
• Ability to work onsite and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
