Senior Dry Utilities Engineer

About the role

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer to lead the design and delivery of medium‑voltage, low‑voltage, street‑lighting and telecommunications networks for large‑scale infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on engineering to ensure high‑quality, compliant utility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of MV, LV, street‑lighting and telecom utility networks.
• Prepare, review and coordinate engineering drawings, BIM models and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs meet company standards, client requirements and relevant codes.
• Coordinate dry‑utility designs with multidisciplinary civil, electrical and other engineering teams.
• Manage design coordination, QA/QC, technical reviews and resolve design issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project planning and client coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in dry‑utility infrastructure design and delivery.
• Proven experience on major UAE and/or KSA projects involving MV, LV, street‑lighting and telecommunications networks.
