Senior Electrical Service Technician – CNC & Automation

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Senior Technician to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of CNC machines, special‑purpose machines and associated production equipment in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC machines, SPMs and their electrical/control systems according to OEM procedures.
• Lead systematic root‑cause analysis of complex electrical and control failures.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs, CNC control circuits, servo drives, spindle drives, motors, encoders and related feedback systems.
• Maintain ATC/APC tool changers, pallet changers, machine sequence controls and clamping systems.
• Service electrical power distribution equipment such as MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, overload relays, transformers, fuses and power supplies.
• Troubleshoot PLC I/O, sensors, relays, solenoid circuits, machine interlocks and automation networks.
• Repair HMI panels, operator interfaces and machine control communications.
• Inspect and maintain safety circuits, emergency stops, safety relays and door interlocks.
• Perform preventive maintenance, electrical testing (voltage, current, resistance, insulation) and condition monitoring.
• Support machine installation, relocation, commissioning, dismantling and functional testing.
• Recommend and implement reliability improvements to reduce downtime and increase MTBF.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance of CNC and automation equipment.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior technicians.
• Strong analytical skills for root‑cause investigations.
• Familiarity with OEM specifications and safety standards.
