Senior Engineer Construction Minor Scheme

About the role

ADNOC Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the construction, mechanical completion and ready‑for‑commissioning phases of Minor Scheme projects within the MOC framework. The role ensures full compliance with HSE, quality and technical standards while supporting the company’s 2030 sustainability objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise construction activities, exercising financial authority as defined for the position.
• Review project planning packages, identify risks and develop execution strategies in coordination with site teams.
• Identify constructability issues early and propose practical solutions.
• Assess HSE critical aspects before implementation to guarantee safe execution.
• Review and approve contractor submittals such as Inspection Test Plans, method statements, mechanical completion and commissioning dossiers.
• Attend regular contractor meetings, monitor progress, and ensure schedule compliance.
• Validate contractor reports and material approval requests for consistency with project requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising contractor activities on large‑scale oil and gas construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE, quality and technical regulations within the ADNOC environment.
• Ability to coordinate field inputs, manage change and integrate engineering projects across all stages.
• Excellent analytical skills to align plans with field operating philosophy and best practices.
