Senior Engineer Construction - Piping

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Engineer – Construction (Piping) to lead on‑site piping installation for a major PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures technical compliance with design, safety standards, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise on‑site piping installation activities.
• Verify compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines.
• Review and coordinate 3D piping models (e.g., SP3D) and ensure alignment with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and client representatives, including ADNOC when applicable.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years on mega oil‑and‑gas processing projects.
• At least 10 years of piping construction experience in onshore/offshore oil & gas environments.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Piping specifications, ASME and API standards.
• Proficiency in 3D piping modeling tools such as SP3D.
• Extensive experience in piping construction for oil & gas projects.
