Senior Engineer – Operations Support

About the role

ADNOC is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead Operations Support within its Environmental Program. The role focuses on monitoring, reporting and improving air, water and waste management across plant operations, ensuring compliance with ISO‑14001 and local environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily plant discharges (flaring, emissions, liquid effluents) and report deviations with corrective recommendations.
• Implement and evaluate ISO‑14001 environmental management system activities on site.
• Develop calculations and measurement systems for quantifying flaring and emissions.
• Supervise data collection and preparation of daily, monthly and annual environmental reports.
• Plan and support ambient air quality monitoring and emission source testing.
• Recommend and oversee the use of appropriate environmental sampling equipment, training field staff on best practices.
• Provide advisory functions to management on environmental protection and health safety matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental engineering or related fields.
• Proven experience with ISO‑14001 implementation and environmental audit processes.
• Strong background in emissions monitoring, waste handling and hazardous material management.
