Senior Engineer – Project Portfolio Management

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to support the Roads and Transport Authority’s Project Portfolio Management (PPM) function. The role will coordinate portfolio activities, monitor project performance and produce structured reports to ensure alignment with RTA strategies and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of PPM and EPM frameworks, policies and procedures across RTA entities.
• Assist in evaluating project proposals, prioritisation and planning.
• Monitor portfolio performance, track progress and prepare periodic reports (quarterly, budget, benefits).
• Maintain portfolio data in EPM/PPM systems and review project submissions, updates and change requests.
• Coordinate with sectors and departments to collect project data and ensure timely reporting.
• Contribute to the improvement of governance processes, templates, dashboards and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience (2 years with a bachelor’s degree).
• UAE nationality.
• Ability to conduct site visits for project validation.
