Senior Engineer – Projects (FEED to Commissioning)

About the role

ADNOC is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead and execute project engineering activities across the full project lifecycle, from concept and FEED through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning and hand‑over. The role ensures delivery in line with safety, quality, schedule, cost and Value Assurance Process (VAP) requirements while coordinating closely with engineering disciplines, contractors, licensors and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project engineering and execution across FEED, detailed engineering, construction and commissioning phases.
• Develop and review Statements of Requirement (SOR) and project execution strategies.
• Support tender preparation, evaluate consultants, PMC and EPC contractors.
• Review contractor deliverables, construction methodologies and execution plans.
• Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions.
• Lead value‑engineering, constructability reviews and technical workshops.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, licensors, vendors and third‑parties to ensure alignment.
• Monitor contractor performance, costs and invoices; evaluate claims and support contract close‑out.
• Conduct risk analysis, HSE reviews and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards.
• Maintain project documentation, close‑out reports and technical deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project engineering within oil & gas or related sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary projects from FEED to hand‑over.
• Strong understanding of engineering standards, safety and quality requirements.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder‑management skills.
