Senior Enterprise Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to shape the enterprise architecture strategy for a leading omnichannel retail and digital commerce group in Dubai. The role will drive alignment of technology investments with business growth, operational excellence, and innovation across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the enterprise architecture strategy to unify omnichannel retail and digital platforms.
• Design and select core infrastructure for storage, data centers, and client/server environments, acting as escalation point for global solutions.
• Translate business objectives into detailed architecture roadmaps that promote technology investment and performance improvement.
• Lead the design and ongoing management of architecture covering ecommerce, OMS, ERP, CRM, POS, CMS, Loyalty, PIM, and AI systems.
• Provide technical leadership in microservices, domain‑driven design, event‑driven architecture, cloud‑native approaches, and advanced engineering practices.
• Ensure architectural consistency with engineering, product, and data teams while meeting performance and security standards.
• Drive transformation initiatives, delivering against KPIs, budgets, timelines, and SLAs.
• Promote DevOps, CI/CD, and automation to raise engineering maturity and risk management.
• Develop AI and data architecture strategy, integrating large language models, personalization, dynamic pricing, and intelligent search.
• Oversee data pipelines, real‑time analytics, streaming architectures, and compliance with GDPR, ISO, and security policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience defining enterprise architecture strategy for large, multi‑regional retail or digital commerce organizations.
• Strong leadership in guiding cross‑functional engineering, product, and data teams.
• Track record of delivering complex transformation programs on time and within budget.
