Senior Finance Analyst (1-Year Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst on a one‑year contract to support Al Tayer Group’s management with comprehensive financial analysis, budgeting and compliance. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting and safeguard the company’s assets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, present and monitor budgets, forecasts and management accounts.
• Liaise with central and business units to consolidate financial data for budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee the annual accounts consolidation and coordinate timely external audits.
• Implement budgetary, accounting and physical controls over assets, purchases and services.
• Ensure tax compliance and timely filing of returns where applicable.
• Manage insurance coverage for company assets in coordination with corporate finance.
• Control inventory processes, including order approvals, L/C management, costing, pricing and ageing reviews.
• Monitor credit limits, debtor collections and provide MIS and exception reporting.
• Supervise internal and external payments, ensuring adherence to approved terms.
• Maintain up‑to‑date accounting entries, reconciliations with banks, debtors, creditors and group companies.
• Track bank facilities, project cash flows and advise on potential shortfalls.
• Forecast foreign‑exchange requirements and communicate changes to head‑office finance.
• Review monthly and annual closing activities in line with corporate policies and IFRS, delivering timely management reports.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant professional certification.
• Extensive experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a senior analytical role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and corporate financial policies.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
• Experience with tax compliance, audit coordination and asset management.
