Senior Finance Analyst – FP&A (Retail, Wholesale, E‑commerce)

About the role

Al Boom Marine is seeking a commercially‑driven Senior Finance Analyst to join its Finance team in Dubai. You will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across retail, wholesale and e‑commerce channels, providing actionable insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain annual budgets, monthly budgets and rolling forecasts for brands, stores and channels.
• Track performance against budget and prior year, delivering variance analysis and KPI dashboards on sales, margins, expenses and inventory.
• Prepare monthly P&L analysis, management reporting packs and presentations for business reviews.
• Support month‑end close activities, accruals and analytical reviews in partnership with accounting.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new stores, lease renewals and other investment cases.
• Improve financial models, automate reports and support ERP/BI system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CA or CFA (qualified or part‑qualified) preferred.
• 5–8 years of FP&A or commercial finance experience, with at least 2–3 years in a retail environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modelling and analysis.
• Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualisation.
• Experience with ERP and Business Intelligence systems.
• Familiarity with AI tools for automation of reporting processes.
