Senior Finance Executive – Accounts Payable – Real Estate – Contracting

About the role

The Cost Control, Accounts Payable and Reporting Specialist ensures financial efficiency by accurately booking costs, processing invoices and delivering timely reports. The role sits at the intersection of finance, real‑estate and contracting operations, driving digital transformation and automation across the AP function.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and book GRN/costs, adhering to internal approval and VAT guidelines.
• Coordinate with central finance to secure invoices for timely liability booking.
• Conduct weekly reviews of Delivery Order files, follow up on missing invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Manage monthly batch payment runs, minimise out‑of‑cycle payments and process exceptional payment requests with proper approval.
• Maintain vendor advance ageing and GR/IR ageing reports; review open purchase orders and support project closure.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using tools such as M‑Files, SAP, OCR, AI and robotics.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT and Shared Services to roll out digital workflow and self‑service reporting solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts payable and cost control within a large, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong understanding of financial guidelines, delegation of authority and VAT compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
