Senior Finance Manager

About the role

Al Boom Marine is seeking a highly motivated Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance function across its Retail, Wholesale and E‑commerce channels in the GCC. You will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, accounting, taxation and VAT compliance while supporting the company’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning for all business channels.
• Provide variance analysis, KPI dashboards and actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and GCC tax laws, manage filings, reconciliations and audits.
• Support pricing, investment evaluation and expansion plans for Retail, Wholesale and E‑commerce.
• Monitor working capital, inventory and cash flow; drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multi‑disciplinary finance team.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain and sales teams as a finance business partner.
• Oversee relationships with auditors, banks and regulatory authorities.
• Lead ERP upgrades, automation of routine accounting tasks and financial system enhancements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance leadership within retail, wholesale or e‑commerce environments.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on operational finance expertise.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Deep knowledge of GCC tax and VAT regulations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and team‑development skills.
