Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide comprehensive financial and payroll support to the High Risk Managed Services team, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance and insight for HRMS projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, prepare journal entries, accruals and adjustments.
• Analyse financial performance, produce variance commentary and report project profitability.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of HRMS income.
• Review monthly expatriate payroll, verify documentation and resolve payroll queries.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, statutory and group reporting, and internal/external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Significant experience in management accounting and analytical finance roles.
• Proven ability to prepare budgets, forecasts and financial statements under IFRS.
• Part‑qualified status in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
• Strong understanding of DIFC employment law and related tax calculations.
• Proactive problem‑solver with good communication and escalation skills.
