Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Operational Finance team in Dubai. Reporting to the Division Business Finance Manager, you will provide timely, accurate financial analysis and support the development of business plans that drive performance across our retail operations.

Key responsibilities

• Model and deliver historical, current and forecast financial data to enable brand, division and support function managers to review performance and build optimized business plans.
• Compare budget versus actual trading performance each period and highlight variances.
• Prepare monthly Financial Review packs, conduct ad‑hoc analyses and act as the right‑hand support for the Finance Manager.
• Produce standard and customized financial reports for the business on schedule.
• Perform focused profitability analysis for brands, stores and countries, including ongoing cost reviews.

Required profile

• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, CMA or an MBA.
• Proven experience leading a team of financial analysts.
• Retail industry experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities with the capacity to explain financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Hyperion reporting tools.
• Advanced MS Office, especially Excel for spreadsheet modelling.
