Senior Financial Auditor – Abu Dhabi

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Financial Auditor to join its Abu Dhabi audit team. The role involves delivering high‑quality audit engagements for a diverse client base and providing insightful analysis of financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in and lead audit engagements, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to EY standards.
• Prepare and present audit findings to client management and senior EY staff.
• Develop audit reports, schedules, and documentation for client delivery.
• Maintain effective communication with client personnel and internal teams throughout the engagement.
• Identify and escalate potential business opportunities and risk issues to senior leadership.
• Contribute to recruitment and retention initiatives for assurance professionals.

Required profile

• Strong academic record with a university degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA).
• Minimum four years of experience in external audit, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
