About the role

Redstone Commodity Search is partnering with a global energy trading firm to hire a Senior Fuel Oil Market Maker for its Dubai trading desk. The role focuses on providing liquidity, pricing expertise and trading support across fuel oil markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop market‑making activities across fuel oil markets, delivering liquidity and pricing expertise to a broad client base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing counterparties while identifying new commercial opportunities and expanding market coverage.
• Monitor market developments, manage trading exposures and contribute to the continuous improvement of pricing strategies and market‑making capabilities.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in fuel oil, energy trading, brokerage or a related commodities environment with proven trading ability.
• Demonstrated experience in market making, quoting prices, managing risk and direct client/counterparty interaction in physical or paper markets.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to develop client relationships and thrive in a fast‑paced trading environment.
