Senior Hardware & Software Test Engineer

About the role

Dyson is looking for a Senior Hardware & Software Test Engineer to join its Software Test & Quality Assurance team in Dubai. You will support the development and execution of test cases for embedded software applications, working with state‑of‑the‑art labs that enable unattended testing of full products, including robotic components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain functional, integration, and regression test cases for embedded software systems.
• Create and run automated test scripts using a variety of tools and frameworks.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, assisting in troubleshooting and resolution.
• Participate in code reviews to improve testability and coverage.
• Conduct exploratory and reliability testing of embedded software.
• Follow established testing processes and methodologies within a Scaled Agile Framework.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
