Senior Hook Up Engineer – Dubai

About the role

The Senior Hook Up Engineer will lead the hook‑up discipline, supporting the Hook‑up Lead and Manager to deliver construction and completion activities during the hook‑up phase. This role ensures that all installations and related tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review hook‑up job cards, ensuring prerequisites and sequential installations are defined.
• Develop discipline‑specific WBS and constructability logs, monitoring weekly actions.
• Review construction work packs, material requisitions, and design MTOs for compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate material deliveries to on‑site locations and verify material tagging against job cards.
• Maintain hook‑up progress registers, synchronize schedules with other disciplines, and report daily progress.
• Liaise with warehouse, fabrication, and commissioning teams to ensure material readiness and system priorities.
• Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation measures, and ensure compliance with industry codes and sustainability standards.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support procurement and project management teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hook‑up engineering within onshore or offshore projects.
• Strong understanding of construction work packs, material handling, and project scheduling.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
