Senior Housekeeping Executive

About the role

The Senior Housekeeping Executive will lead and coordinate all housekeeping activities across guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces for a globally focused hospitality organization. This senior‑level position ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency while managing a diverse team of housekeeping staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and oversee daily housekeeping operations, including room assignments, staffing levels and shift plans.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites and public areas to verify cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering and Laundry to manage room status, maintenance defects, VIP preparations and guest requests.
• Supervise and coach housekeeping personnel, conduct briefings, performance reviews and training on cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
• Maintain inventory control of linen, cleaning chemicals, amenities and equipment, and liaise with Procurement and Laundry for supply management.
• Monitor productivity, track key performance indicators and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of progressive housekeeping experience, including supervisory or executive responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead large housekeeping teams, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with health, safety and security standards.
