Senior Housekeeping Officer – Zabeel House The Greens

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Officer – Housekeeping to join Zabeel House The Greens. The role involves receiving, recording and coordinating guest and housekeeping requests, ensuring timely completion and maintaining accurate departmental records.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, record and coordinate guest and housekeeping requests accurately and professionally.
• Assign and monitor requests through housekeeping systems such as HotSOS and Opera, ensuring completion within required timeframes.
• Follow up on VIP rooms, priority and arrival rooms, DND rooms, special requests and outstanding housekeeping tasks.
• Liaise closely with Housekeeping colleagues, Front Office, Engineering and other departments to handle guest requests and operational matters promptly.
• Maintain accurate departmental records, logbooks, handover notes, discrepancy reports and lost‑and‑found records.
• Monitor room status and communicate updates to Housekeeping Team Leaders to support timely room readiness.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in an order‑taker, coordinator or administrator role within a hotel environment.
• Good understanding of housekeeping operations, guest service standards and departmental procedures.
• Excellent communication, coordination and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with guests and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records while handling multiple requests.
• A positive, professional and guest‑focused attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
