Senior Interface Engineer

About the role

The Senior Interface Engineer is responsible for managing all interface activities during the detailed engineering phase and throughout project execution. Working from the home office and on‑site, the role bridges technical and coordination functions to ensure seamless integration across multiple project packages.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute assigned interface requirements with internal teams, external stakeholders, EPC contractors, and end users.
• Organise regular interface meetings between the EPC contractor and Worley, driving discussions and alignment.
• Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to the Process/Commissioning Manager, highlighting issues and mitigation actions.
• Lead the technical integration of internal and external interfaces, maintaining Interface Point registers and IP databases.
• Monitor and control interface documentation, agreements, and schedules to meet project milestones.
• Participate in scope reviews, strategy development, and execution planning to ensure design alignment and timely tie‑in completions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in engineering coordination and interface management on large‑scale EPC projects.
• Strong communication skills to act as the principal point of contact for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive issue resolution proactively.
• Familiarity with interface documentation, registers, and database control.
