Senior Leasing Manager

About the role

The Senior Leasing Manager will join Al-Futtaim’s Retail Leasing team, overseeing the retail leasing portfolio across the MENA region. The role blends financial, legal and strategic responsibilities to expand Al-Futtaim’s retail footprint while protecting the company’s financial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, negotiate and formalise all retail leasing transactions within the assigned portfolio.
• Source and negotiate prime real‑estate locations for existing and new Al-Futtaim brands.
• Execute lease administration tasks, including contract and legal reviews, payment processing and documentation tracking.
• Maintain up‑to‑date leasing systems and tracking sheets.
• Plan and roll‑out new store locations, and negotiate early lease surrender or termination to minimise financial impact.
• Build and maintain relationships with landlords and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare regular leasing reports, provide insights to management and support lease‑risk mitigation with the legal department.
• Analyse portfolio performance, negotiate rental reductions and manage renewals to secure competitive rates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail leasing or commercial real‑estate management.
• Strong understanding of lease contracts, legal terms and financial implications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse data, produce reports and present findings to senior management.
