Senior Leasing Manager – Retail

About the role

The Senior Leasing Manager – Retail will lead the management of Al-Futtaim’s retail leasing portfolio across the MENA region. The role combines financial, legal and strategic responsibilities to support the expansion of Al-Futtaim’s retail footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, negotiate and formalise all retail leasing transactions within the assigned portfolio.
• Source and negotiate prime real‑estate locations for existing and new brands, securing favourable commercial terms.
• Execute lease‑administration tasks including contract reviews, legal reviews, payment processing and documentation tracking.
• Maintain up‑to‑date leasing systems and tracking sheets.
• Plan and execute roll‑out locations for Al‑Futtaim retail brands.
• Negotiate early lease surrender or termination for store closures while minimising financial impact.
• Build and strengthen relationships with landlords and internal stakeholders.
• Produce regular leasing reports, provide insights to management and support lease‑review processes with the legal department.
• Analyse portfolio performance, negotiate rental reductions and manage renewals to achieve competitive rates.
• Prepare presentations for senior management on leasing performance and strategy.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage retail leasing transactions and negotiate lease terms.
• Experience analysing portfolio performance and delivering strategic insights.
