Senior Maintenance CFAM Specialist

About the role

Contribute to the oversight of sustainable implementation of policies, programs, procedures and practices consistent with industry standards of excellence. Perform field governance and oversight of Corporate Functional Area Management (CFAM) activities and engage plant personnel regularly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input to operating policies, standards and programs aligned with best practices.
• Perform field and training observations, offering coaching and technical expertise.
• Review functional area KPIs and action requests to identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Support interaction with the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) on compliance issues.
• Lead meetings with station personnel to address gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in causal evaluations, corrective action programs and document lessons learned.
• Lead functional area deep‑dive assessments, benchmarking and industry group meetings (WANO/INPO).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science (or two years nuclear plant experience in lieu of degree).
• Eight years of power plant experience, preferably in nuclear.
• Understanding of the Governance Oversight Support Perform (GOSP) model and maintenance fundamentals.

Required skills

• Subject‑matter expertise in Human Performance, KPIs, SOER and INPO IRIS.
• Knowledge of external oversight bodies such as WANO, INPO, NSRB and IAEA.
• Experience working with licensing authorities and nuclear regulators.
• Corrective Action Program (CAP) champion duties, familiarity with DevonWay/Markaz tools.
• Proficiency with SAP and procedure development.
• Strong report‑writing ability for oversight, causal and self‑assessment reports.
