Senior Manager, Commercial Contracting

About the role

Core42 is seeking a Senior Manager to lead commercial contracting for complex, non‑standard deals in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations, you will be the central orchestration point within the Deal Desk, driving end‑to‑end contract execution while safeguarding governance and risk.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full contracting lifecycle from award to signature, coordinating intake, draft preparation, review cycles and redline consolidation.
• Track approvals and execution readiness, working closely with Legal, Finance, Vendors/Partners, Compliance and business owners to meet SLA commitments.
• Assess each deal’s archetype and risk profile, applying delegation‑of‑authority matrices and routing deals through the appropriate approval path.
• Escalate deviations that exceed defined thresholds for senior review and ensure compliance with CBO or CFO approval requirements.
• Review, negotiate and manage non‑standard contractual clauses, including pricing deviations, payment terms, liability positions and other commercial risk elements.
• Define exception thresholds and maintain governance discipline while minimizing bottlenecks.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in commercial contracting, deal desk operations or related revenue‑operations functions.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Product, Compliance) in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong analytical mindset to evaluate commercial, legal and financial complexity of enterprise‑level deals.
• Senior‑manager level leadership with a track record of delivering complex contracts on time.
