Senior Manager Corporate Communications – UAE

About the role

Visa is seeking a strategic Senior Manager to lead Corporate Communications across the United Arab Emirates and support broader GCC initiatives. The role blends hands‑on media relations, campaign execution and senior‑level advisory responsibilities, reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Communications – GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute UAE communications strategies aligned with regional business priorities, measuring impact through media coverage and perception audits.
• Partner with business units to design and deliver project‑based campaigns, speeches, presentations, articles, video and social content.
• Maintain and grow relationships with Tier 1 media outlets, handling proactive and reactive engagements, including crisis support.
• Support internal communications for UAE, Qatar and Kuwait, delivering leadership messaging, town‑halls and employee engagement programs.
• Manage communications agencies, provide briefs, oversee execution and track performance against defined KPIs.
• Monitor media, report on outcomes and continuously improve measurement frameworks across markets.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR or media relations, fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong storytelling ability with a data‑informed approach to content creation and measurement.
• Proven capability to advise senior stakeholders and influence without formal authority.
• Excellent collaboration skills, able to work in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
