Senior Manager - Cyber Security Engineers

About the role

DeepLight AI is seeking a Senior Manager to lead cyber security engineering squads embedded within a major banking client in the UAE. The role combines people leadership, delivery management, and deep technical oversight to ensure the bank’s security infrastructure meets the highest institutional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct cross‑functional security engineering squads, set performance targets and conduct career development reviews.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle for all cyber security projects, including sprint planning, milestone tracking and resource allocation.
• Supervise deployment, configuration and integration of core security technologies such as IAM, network security, endpoint protection and cloud security controls.
• Ensure all implementations align with the bank’s policies, risk appetite and selected cyber security frameworks.
• Act as the primary liaison between engineering teams, senior leadership, risk officers and external client stakeholders, reporting on project velocity and technical risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing senior‑level security engineering teams in complex, regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of banking or financial services security requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic oversight with hands‑on technical guidance.
