Senior Manager, Financial MIS & Shared Services

About the role

Lead the finance technology, transformation and digitalisation agenda by acting as the strategic interface between Finance and Technology. The role oversees all finance‑related projects, ensuring systems support accurate financial, regulatory and management reporting while driving operational efficiency and data governance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern the finance transformation portfolio, providing centralized tracking, risk management and milestone reporting to the Group CFO and steering committees.
• Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Technology and external implementation partners for initiatives such as Oracle Flexcube, Oracle EPM, OFSAA, ERP and data‑lake platforms.
• Lead finance workstreams for core banking implementation and downstream finance systems, ensuring timely delivery of project plans, risk mitigation and solution design.
• Oversee end‑to‑end project delivery, including system testing (SIT/UAT), data migration, automation, AI adoption and regulatory reporting compliance.
• Report regularly on project status, risks and decisions, and ensure capital budgets are drawn down and utilised transparently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline; professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) and/or PMP/PRINCE2 is an advantage.
• 15‑18 years of experience leading large‑scale technology transformation and system implementation projects within the banking industry.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, regulatory reporting, IFRS, and banking finance processes.

Required skills

• Deep technical knowledge of Oracle Flexcube, Oracle EPM (TRCS, PBCS, FCCS, ARCS) and OFSAA modules (FTP, ALM, Cost Allocation, PFT, Management Ledger, LRM, LCR).
• Experience with ERP systems, IBM Advance Planning Analytics, Data Lake architecture and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Proficiency in digital transformation, AI adoption, automation initiatives and testing automation.
• Working knowledge of data governance, data lineage and data quality management practices.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills across Finance, Technology and external partners.
