About the role
Visa is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the operational side of its Government Affairs Hub for the CEMEA region. This role ensures the function runs efficiently, supports strategic priorities, and collaborates across legal, compliance, finance, and product teams.
Key responsibilities
- Drive strategic planning, annual operating plans, workforce planning, and execution tracking.
- Lead budget planning, forecasting, reporting, procurement, and resource management.
- Manage governance, compliance, audit readiness, approvals, and risk management processes.
- Program manage key Government Affairs initiatives, events, sponsorships, and leadership engagements.
- Produce executive‑ready analyses, presentations, dashboards, and leadership updates.
- Coordinate with Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Communications, Procurement, and business teams to support priorities.
- Lead intelligence gathering on policy, regulatory, geopolitical, and industry developments.
- Develop tools, processes, dashboards, and AI‑enabled solutions to improve visibility and decision‑making.
- Coordinate onboarding, training, capability building, and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across the function.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, Law, or related field.
- Significant experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Strategy, Business Operations, Program Management, Finance, Compliance, or Consulting.
- Strong planning, organizational, project management, and execution skills.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work across functions, geographies, and seniority levels.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with experience preparing executive‑ready presentations and briefings.
- Experience partnering with Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Communications, and other cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Experience developing dashboards, reporting tools, operating processes, and management routines.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion, and problem‑solving skills.
