Senior Manager, HR Data Analytics & Transformation

About the role

The Senior Manager, People Analytics, AI and Strategic Projects leads SSMC’s people‑analytics function, workforce data governance and AI‑enabled solutions across the People & Talent Experience portfolio. Reporting to the Director, the role ensures that all workforce decisions are evidence‑based, data is accurate and well‑governed, and strategic projects deliver sustainable organisational value.

Key responsibilities

• Design, produce and distribute regular and ad‑hoc HR and talent reports for senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reporting tools, guaranteeing data accuracy and readiness for decision‑making.
• Consolidate reporting from Talent Acquisition, Onboarding and HR Operations into unified performance packs.
• Define and enforce HR reporting standards, data definitions and governance frameworks.
• Analyse HR and talent data to surface trends, risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights.
• Own governance of the approved workforce establishment, aligning plans, structures, budgets and positions.
• Manage the lifecycle of position codes, ensuring correct mapping to job, grade, department, cost centre and approval status.
• Maintain a single source of truth for all workforce data, including occupied, vacant, frozen, planned and unfunded positions.
• Partner with Finance, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Rewards and business leaders to reconcile headcount, payroll and recruitment data.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in HR analytics, workforce data governance and strategic project delivery.
• Proven ability to lead high‑impact transformation, automation and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, working with senior leaders across HR, finance and operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and maintaining HR dashboards and reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical mindset with the capacity to translate data into clear business recommendations.
