Senior Manager Internal Audit

About the role

Checkout.com is seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager for Internal Audit to join its MENA internal audit function. Based in Dubai, you will report directly to the Global Head of Internal Audit and provide independent assurance over governance, risk management, and controls across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the annual audit plan for MENA legal entities, including audit universe updates and risk assessments.
• Support the internal audit assurance framework, incorporating continuous‑improvement monitoring and automated audit routines using AI and data analytics.
• Lead hands‑on delivery and oversight of audits across Treasury, Finance, Operations, and Compliance.
• Document and communicate audit findings, risk exposures, and recommendations to senior management, regional board, and risk committees.
• Monitor remediation actions and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal audit within a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and deliver audit projects on schedule.
• Experience leading audit teams and driving expansion goals in a regional context.
