Senior Manager - Investment AI Platform

About the role

Inception42, a G42 company, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the investment AI platform within the (in)Alpha product team. You will act as the resident investment practitioner, translating real‑world investment processes into product requirements and ensuring analytical quality.

Key responsibilities

• Define how (in)Alpha modules behave across screening, diligence, data‑room handling, committee materials, and portfolio monitoring.
• Author and maintain reference artefacts such as investment committee memos, diligence question sets, scoring frameworks, and benchmarking conventions.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, AI, growth and client investment teams to refine backlog and resolve practitioner‑level questions.
• Pressure‑test proposed features against fund governance, regulated processes and committee dynamics.
• Review AI‑generated outputs for analytical soundness, appropriate treatment of uncertainty and correct source evidence.
• Set quality standards for analytical outputs and work with the AI team to translate investment judgment into testable evaluation criteria.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of private equity, private credit, venture, sovereign wealth or other institutional investment practices.
• Strong judgment, precise communication and high ownership in a fast‑moving product environment.
• Ability to work independently without direct reports while influencing cross‑functional teams.
