Senior Manager, Investment Applications & Technology

About the role

This senior position sits at the intersection of investment and technology for a leading Abu Dhabi‑based investment organisation. Reporting to the CTO, you will partner with portfolio management, investment operations, risk, finance and other business functions to ensure technology platforms support investment decision‑making and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery, enhancement and evolution of investment and enterprise applications.
• Translate business requirements from investment teams into effective technology solutions.
• Support applications across portfolio management, investment operations, risk, performance reporting and investment accounting.
• Manage implementations, upgrades, integrations and process improvements across the investment technology landscape.
• Oversee relationships with vendors, system integrators and internal technology teams.
• Identify and drive workflow automation and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Ensure applications remain scalable, secure, well‑governed and aligned with the organisation’s technology strategy.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years of technology, applications or business‑solutions experience, preferably within an investment organisation, asset manager, sovereign investor, pension fund or similar financial‑services environment.
• Hands‑on experience implementing, supporting or enhancing investment applications used by investment professionals.
• UAE national status (family book) is mandatory; expatriates will not be considered.
