Senior Manager – Logistics Baggage & Cargo

About the role

Dubai Airports is seeking a Senior Manager to lead end‑to‑end capacity analysis and planning for its Baggage and Cargo facilities across DXB and DWC. The role bridges strategic forecasting with concrete infrastructure development, ensuring the airport meets service standards while adapting to seasonal traffic variations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct long‑term and seasonal capacity analysis for baggage and cargo handling systems and automation.
• Translate traffic forecasts and service level targets into facility and infrastructure requirements for master planning.
• Identify current and future capacity constraints and develop structured mitigation plans.
• Provide capacity inputs for the IATA seasonal capacity declaration process.
• Assess the impact of infrastructure, technology, operational, or regulatory changes on capacity and propose evidence‑based actions.
• Define and continuously review service propositions and planning assumptions to meet Dubai Airports’ standards.
• Collaborate with planning, delivery, operations, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure timely development of required facilities.
• Maintain SLAs with internal and external partners to optimise asset utilisation.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Operational Research or a related field.
• 7–10 years of professional experience, including strong background in capacity planning, operational analysis or infrastructure planning.
• Proven experience in aviation, airport, hospitality or a closely related industry.
• Deep understanding of airport operations, service environments and relevant regulatory frameworks.
