Senior Manager Rotable Management

About the role

The Senior Manager Rotable Management leads the end‑to‑end repair lifecycle of rotable aircraft components, ensuring fleet readiness, cost efficiency and compliance with technical standards. This senior position focuses on reducing turnaround times, improving vendor performance and maximizing recovery through warranty and technical claims.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive rotable lifecycle strategy that balances on‑wing reliability with off‑wing repair performance.
• Define and build in‑house repair capabilities, delivering short‑ and long‑term cost benefits.
• Manage repair, loan and exchange costs while driving cost recovery through warranty and technical claims.
• Support BER analysis and make repair‑vs‑replace decisions.
• Oversee all repair processes, enforce SLAs, and implement backlog reduction and process improvement initiatives.
• Engage suppliers regularly, manage contracts and create improvement plans for products and processes.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performance repairs engineering team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in repair management, component workshop management and technical supply‑chain operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of rotable components, repair standards, reliability metrics and aviation regulations (FAA/EASA/GCAA).
• Proven ability to analyse financial data, build business cases and negotiate contracts.
