Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition – People & Organization Management

About the role

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition leads the operational delivery of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City’s recruitment function for Nursing, Allied Health and Administration streams. Reporting to the Director, the role translates strategic talent acquisition goals into day‑to‑day execution and oversees a team of Assistant Managers and recruiters.

Key responsibilities

• Translate SSMC’s talent acquisition strategy into operational plans and delivery targets for Nursing and Allied Health & Admin streams.
• Lead, coach and develop Assistant Managers and their teams, setting performance expectations and caseload benchmarks.
• Own day‑to‑day delivery of the annual hiring plan, ensuring alignment with approved manpower plans and business priorities.
• Chair regular pipeline and performance reviews, identifying and mitigating delivery risks.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex, senior or hard‑to‑fill requisitions within the assigned streams.
• Partner with the Workforce Planning Manager to align recruitment execution with budgets and manpower plans.
• Manage recruitment agency and sourcing partner relationships, overseeing performance and cost.
• Drive adoption and effective use of Oracle Recruiting Cloud and related recruitment technologies.
• Represent Talent Acquisition at the offer approval stage, collaborating with Rewards and the Director.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour law, DOH/HAAD requirements and SSMC policies.
• Contribute to employer branding campaigns and Emiratisation sourcing initiatives.
• Provide regular performance reporting on hiring, time‑to‑recruit, quality‑of‑hire and Emiratisation metrics.
• Support the Director in workforce planning, budget management and process improvement initiatives.
