Senior Manager Tax & Financial Reporting Compliance

About the role

Senior Manager – Tax & Financial Reporting Compliance will lead the delivery of UAE corporate tax, VAT, accounting and financial reporting services for KLOUDAC’s diverse SME client base. The role combines technical expertise with commercial awareness to ensure accurate, timely and audit‑ready client deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee UAE Corporate Tax registrations, assessments, return preparation, filing and liaison with the FTA.
• Manage VAT registrations, returns, refunds, voluntary disclosures and support FTA audits.
• Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements prepared under IFRS or IFRS for SMEs, ensuring completeness and audit readiness.
• Establish and maintain robust quality‑control procedures for tax, VAT and financial reporting engagements.
• Lead, coach and develop tax managers, accountants and senior staff, allocating work and monitoring performance.
• Act as senior point of contact for complex client portfolios, identifying risks and opportunities for additional services.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized professional body.
• Minimum five years of UAE experience in accounting, audit, tax or professional services.
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT legislation and IFRS reporting standards.
• Proven experience managing multiple client portfolios and supervising junior staff.
