Senior Market Access Manager – Pharma

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Market Access Manager to lead access initiatives for a specialty pharmaceutical portfolio across multiple therapeutic areas in the UAE. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution, ensuring successful payer engagement, reimbursement, and launch readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an access strategy for the portfolio in the UAE market.
• Build and maintain relationships with payers, health authorities, and key stakeholders.
• Lead reimbursement and formulary listing processes to achieve access success.
• Create localized value propositions using HTA models, real‑world evidence, and payer data.
• Shape pricing and contracting strategies, including innovative and managed‑entry schemes.
• Ensure launch readiness through early payer engagement and evidence planning.
• Monitor market and regulatory trends and translate them into strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of pharmaceutical experience in Gulf markets, with at least 2 years in market access.
• Strong knowledge of UAE pricing, reimbursement, and healthcare ecosystem.
• Proven track record in payer engagement, reimbursement submissions, and access negotiations.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to work autonomously.
• Experience across multiple therapeutic areas is an advantage; advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) desirable.
