Senior Maximo Analytics Consultant

About the role

SWORD Group is seeking a Senior Maximo Analytics Consultant to lead the design and delivery of analytics solutions for complex asset environments. You will work directly with business and technical stakeholders to turn maintenance data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic asset‑management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse Maximo operational, maintenance and asset data to define KPIs, reports and dashboards.
• Develop and validate SQL queries, datasets, Maximo data extracts and BI visualisations.
• Integrate Maximo data with enterprise BI, data‑warehouse, ERP, GIS and other analytics platforms.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and reconciliation across operational and analytical systems.
• Provide guidance on Maximo data structures, reporting architecture and KPI design.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, integration, data and business teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience with IBM Maximo, preferably version 7.6 or later.
• Strong background in analytics, reporting or data engineering within asset‑management contexts.
• Proven ability to work independently with senior stakeholders and large, distributed asset portfolios.
• Excellent analytical and requirements‑gathering skills.

Required skills

• IBM Maximo (7.6, Maximo Manage, IBM Maximo Application Suite)
• SQL and relational database expertise
• BIRT, Cognos or other external BI reporting tools
• Experience with database views, APIs, Object Structures and integration frameworks
• Knowledge of asset‑management KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, availability and maintenance cost
