About the role
Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static) to be based in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on managing and designing piping and related systems for oil and gas plants, with a strong emphasis on offshore projects.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage static piping systems for oil and gas and petrochemical facilities.
- Oversee commissioning, operation and start‑up activities on offshore projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable piping codes and standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project milestones.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 6 years in piping for major oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- Demonstrated experience on offshore projects.
- Previous involvement in ARAMCO projects is mandatory.
Required skills
- Piping design and analysis.
- Commissioning of offshore facilities.
- Operation and start‑up procedures.
- Knowledge of international piping codes and standards.
- Experience with offshore project environments.
