Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Rotating Process

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician will lead preventive, breakdown and shutdown activities for rotating and static equipment across multiple utility units. The role ensures equipment availability, reliability and integrity while supporting production, quality and safety objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain work permits, review assignments and coordinate transport, materials, tools and equipment.
• Allocate tasks to technicians and participate in diagnosing complex faults.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, replace worn parts and conduct test runs.
• Execute major overhauls, verify clearances and determine part usage or replacement.
• Inspect and test completed work to confirm efficient performance.
• Prepare daily activity reports detailing faults, work performed, materials used and time spent.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance of rotating and static equipment in industrial utility plants.
• Ability to manage work permits, supervise technicians and ensure compliance with HSE policies.
• Strong knowledge of utility systems such as cooling water, fire‑water, instrument air, inert gas, potable water, pumps and compressors.
• Capability to produce accurate maintenance reports and adhere to time standards.
